Voting began at the County Clerk’s office on October 8th, and expanded early voting locations open starting Saturday, October 19th. Election Day is November 5th.
- You can request an absentee ballot beginning late summer 2024 at NMVote.org. We suggest you DO NOT WAIT until the last minute to request. In fact, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. You will be able to see your request and the date the ballot was sent to you at NMVote.org. If more than 7 days has passed without receiving your absentee ballot, be sure to contact the Bernalillo County Clerk’s office.
- Ballots will not be mailed in New Mexico until October 8th. If you already have your absentee ballot, please drop it off at an Early Vote center or County Clerk’s office. Ballots must be received by 7pm on Election Day. A family member or caregiver may drop off an absentee ballot for a voter who cannot go to a voting center, during Early Voting or on Election Day.
